I’m staring out my living room window as I’m writing this. It’s 9:30 AM pst and normally my post would be up for hours now but after a late night at AfterBuzz that just was not able to happen. I’m normally up by 7:00 and sometimes try to push it to 6:30. I’m one of those people that feels like the day is gone if they start anything after 8:00. I’m crazy right? Lately it’s been extremely difficult to wake up and I blame it on June Gloom. Every morning is chilly and looks like it’s going to pour, and although I love the change in weather, it makes it challenging to 1) wake up and 2) to get dressed. Layers are so necessary.
I’d like to pretend that on my days off I stroll around town in a pretty dress like the one from yesterday’s post but for the most part, I don’t. I throw on my most comfortable pair of jeans and a t-shirt. I do like to pay attention to the details though, so I added a comfortable heel with a pop of color and my metallic sweatshirt in case it gets cold. How fun is that sweatshirt?! Now on sale at Nordstrom. I also love this Oscar Wilde printed tee. I get so many compliments on it although I will admit a bunch are from creepy older men that read it and are like, “so which are you, the sinner or the saint?” 😉 😉 😉 Like ew. If I’ve sinned before I’m not your saint now and I’m going to sin in the future it’s not going to be with you, CREEP.
