Are you a big Sports Fan? I went through a stage where I was obsessed with football, specifically Rutgers’, my alma matter football team! I went to every game, every tailgate and even camped and pulled all-nighters for tickets, haha. College Kristina was A LOT of fun. These days, I still love celebrating gamedays, but mostly because I just like to host, eat and be merry!
Whether you are a huge sports fan or not, hosting a game day can be so much fun so I wanted to share some of my favorite hosting tips! The first tip, making shopping for yourself as EASY AS POSSIBLE. I prefer to make my shopping a one-stop-shop because I do not have the time or energy to be running around to a million different places. Walmart is a great place to find all of your Game Day/Hosting essentials in one place!
Below are some things you will need to be the hostest with the mostest!!!
1. Food
If my mom taught me anything, it is that you do not invite people over your home without ample food and drinks!!! I always go for a variety of everything and try to include all food categories from protein to vegetables to easy snacks to dessert and of course, drinks!
2. Set the scene
While hosting a Game Day you obviously want to include some football decorations! Walmart has so many different options! I opted for a black and white theme with a few football details like food picks, black and white popcorn holders and cute on theme napkins. I love this whole look because it feels on theme but still elevated.
3. Make it easy for yourself!
Besides platters which I think is really nice to have something more elevated and substantial that you will use over and over again, use paper for everything else to make the cleaning as easy as possible!
With 2 day shipping and Buy Online Grocery Pick-Up, Walmart makes shopping for Gameday incredibly easy!
