SWIMWEAR SEASON IS OFFICIALLY HERE!
Living in Los Angeles I am very fortunate to spend so much of my summer at the beach or poolside. There are sooo many different options for swimsuits these days that it can feel a bit overwhelming. Where do you start?! Do you save or splurge?! For me, because I am in a swimsuit so often and also documenting my outfits all the time, I tend to opt for trendy affordable swimwear so I have all the options. However, I also have a few suits that I have splurged on and honestly, there is just such a huge difference in quality and fabric that sometimes it really is worth it, especially if you are only wearing a swimsuit a few times over the summer.
Sharing a few of my favorite places to buy swim and some pieces I’m loving from each retailer!
Aerie
So much of my swimwear is from Aerie! They are so affordable and so cute and I LOVE the high waist bottom with the high leg. I wear an XL!
H&M
I love H&M’s conscious line so much! They really started to expand more into swim and more sizes which makes me so happy. I wear a size 14!
Summersalt
I heard a bunch about Summersalt but it wasn’t until I tried their best-selling Sidestroke suit on that I was like, WOW, THE HYPE IS REAL! I can confirm it is gorgeous. SO FLATTERING. It is 100% worth the price and even more. It’s one of those suits that just make you feel confident the second you slip it on. I wear a size 14 and I am so happy to report that many suits are available up to a size 24!
Eloquii
If you are plus size, Eloquii has such great swimwear options! I love the quality of the suits and they are always on-trend. The tops are always very supportive! Eloquii’s size range is 12-28. I wear a 14!
Modcloth
Another destination I love for size-inclusive swimwear! Most Modcloth suits are available up to a 3x! I love their fun prints and styles! I wear a 14 or XL!
Fig Leaves
Love their fit-focused swimwear. They offer bra-sized tops which is great for finding the right fit! They are a UK retailer with their own line and carry many well-known brands as well! I wear a size US 14, UK 18 and 38D
