How to Style a Summer Suit
The Summer Suit should be your bold style choice for this spring and summer season.

Since Spring is officially here, that means summer is just around the corner. It’s time you guys need to start thinking about your summer soirees and the spring and summer suiting and wardrobes to go with them. Spring and summer are the perfect time to play with brighter colors and patterns. Brighten up your wardrobe and in return, brighten up yo’ life! I recently styled a shoot and it was featured in Bello Mag along with some style tips for spring and summer! Yay!
The looks were inspired by a guy surrounded by the laid back Venice style yet headed to the sunny and very colorful Palm Springs for a weekend getaway. I dressed down all the summer suit looks with simple t-shirts and sneakers or boat shoes because I think the suiting should speak for itself. This is how I would suggest styling something so bright and heavily patterned, dress it down! This is actually my favorite spring and summer trend. I love laid-back suiting with sneakers and a t-shirt! It’s cool and casual, yet still sophisticated and professional. Now I know this might not work in all settings, but I really think this is a look every guy should try this summer. ALSO, you will thank me when you are in a nice cotton t-shirt instead of a button down.
All you need to style a summer suit
White Sneakers // This is a wardrobe essential! If you don’t already have white sneakers in your wardrobe, what are you waiting for?!
White T Shirt // Now I have to imagine you already have a white t-shirt in your closet but you absolutely can not wear a Hanes white t with this look! Invest in a great white t that you can wear under blazers and jackets all year round.
Patterned and Colorful Suiting // For Spring and Summer try to ditch the plaids and herringbones and look for suits with florals, paisleys, stripes and bright colors
I looked around the web and found some colorful pieces for you guys to add to your wardrobe. Don’t think you can pull a look like this off? The key is to choose one staple piece. Maybe you should wear a blazer or a sports jacket instead of a full suit. Just remember to keep the rest of your look low-key. Below you can see the full feature in Bello Mag.
