As I told you yesterday, Tuesday was my boyfriend and mine’s 3 year anniversary together. Steve planned a surprise trip down to Newport Beach where we spent the day. I had no idea what our plans were but it turned out we had a private dinner date on sunset gondola ride around the Newport Harbor and Balboa Cove canals. It was so sweet and romantic and adorably corny. When Steve and I first met we took a spontaneous month long trip around Italy together so this was a really fun Italian styled surprise. Newport harbor and the Balboa canals were so charming and the with the sun setting and delicious food and wine it was a perfect evening.
I was wearing a Clover Canyon printed short/shirt set that I scored at their last sample sale. I have been obsessing with this brand for a long time and although I am annoyed they are becoming so mainstream (for selfish, not wanting to match everyone on the street reasons) I am really happy for them as well.
