These pictures were taken  on my trip back to New Jersey.  I’ve been having crazy computer troubles so I was not able to upload them until now!  On my trip home my family and I spent a day in New York at the Culinary Institute of America and at the Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park.  It was such a fun, beautiful day and both places were amazing.  If you know me,  you know I have a slight obsession with food (I blame my Greek family for this one) so I loved every minute at the CIA.  Our trip was very last minute so we were not able to make reservations at one of their formal restaurants but we had delicious pizza and incredible desserts from the Apple Pie Bakery.  We then headed to the Vanderbilt Mansion for a tour of the estate which was again, nothing less than incredible.  The best part?  It’s the smallest of all the Vanderbilt properties! Along with the main house, there are several guest houses and gardens and the property overlooks the Hudson River.

Thanks to my brother and sister for snapping my pictures and especially to my sister for letting me borrow her dress.  She’s lucky I didn’t take back to LA with me.

Cheers to fashion, seeing the world and always having fun!
