As I mentioned in my story, I worked at Nordstrom for several years! I was a personal stylist for the company for over 8 years and know the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale inside and out. There are so many cute pieces and great sale items but my suggestion is to choose a few pieces that are very versatile. You know I am the ultimate outfit repeater so I love items I can wear multiple ways. I like to stick to basics, athletic wear, and some statement coats/jackets because I love them and they tend to sell out first!
Presale starts on July 12th for Nordstrom cardholders and the sale opens up to the public on the 19th. My favorite thing about the sale this year is the amount of size-inclusive pieces!! So exciting. I already went in the store and tried a bunch of pieces from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale on so I am sharing my favorite picks below.
Flare Jeans: wearing the size 14
These jeans are so so cute!!!! I am obsessed with Good American and love a flare leg! There are so on-trend right now and this pair fits perfectly. Lol, I was on my way to the beach when I stopped in to try some things on so don’t mind the image but I wanted you to see!
Black Crop Demi Boot Jeans: wearing a size 32
I wear these jeans ALL the time. They are the exact same fit but a darker black. I love them and could recommend more!
The Square Neck Tank: Purchased a size medium (RUNS VERY LARGE)
LOVE the neckline of this top!! It’s so chic and sexy at the same time and is a great layering piece. Would look great with a pair of jeans, or dressed up underneath a blazer. It runs very large. Normally I am an XL and I tried the large on and it was still too big and I ended up sizing down to the medium.
Satin Midi Skirt: Purchased a size Large (Runs big)
This skirt is CUTE AF!!! It runs large but looks so so great on!! I loved it the second I tried it on. This is a great piece you can wear so many different way and dress up and dress down. I would normally get an XL but the Large fit perfectly.
Airbrush High Waist Legging: wearing the large
This is probably my favorite pair of leggings. If I am being honest my initial thought was, “you gotta be kidding me!!” when I saw they were on sale because I just bought a pair full price not too long ago, haha. They really hold you in, are extremely flattering, very comfortable and don’t fall down.
My favorite lipstick: wear this every day!!!!
This has been my go-to lipstick since 2014!!!!!!!!!! Need I say more?! It’s the perfect lipstick/lip liner duo and for the price, you pretty much get the lipgloss free.
The best strapless bra: I wear a size 38D
I LOVE THIS BRA! My sister introduced me to Wacoal over 10 years ago and I never looked back. Finding a strapless bra is so challenging and this one is seriously amazing. It is worth every penny! Idk why we’re willing to drop $$$ on a dress but not on a bra that we’d wear way, way more?! I am guilty of this too but seriously this one is fantastic. It is supportive and gives great lift. Just read the reviews!
Cropped Faux Fur: I have a size XL
I love a cropped faux fur jacket! I bought the one in the right image in 2012! It was a splurge for me at the time but I still have it and wore it for 7 years, haha. It’s a bit small now and I think I need to retire it. These faux fur cropped jackets are very cute and a great statement piece to wear all fall and winter long. I have the olive zebra one!
