Video: My Daily Skincare and Beauty Routine

Hi Lovies!!  So many of you have been asking me on instagram and facebook to share my skincare and beauty routine so I finally created a tutorial and I hope you like it!!  My skin has changed a lot in the past few years and moving to LA did not help.  It totally sucked all the moisture out of my skin and I developed eczema.  I decided to invest more time and effort into my skincare and beauty routine.  The products I used in the video are all my own and ones that I actually use everyday.   Also, I will say that a lot of the products I use are not cheap but they are great quality and last a very long time.  I can be very frugal when it comes to certain things but your face is freaking important so treat it right.  My mom thinks I am absolutely nuts for buying $100 moisturizer but then every time I go home, she’s like, “do you have that moisturizer with you?!”  I like to spend money on my face and on my feet (errr, hello designer shoe sales) and I am not ashamed to admit it!

Dr. Lin Medicated Acne Cleansing Wipes

I received this product in my fall FabFitFun box and I absolutely love it!

The wipes clean your skin really nicely and my face never feels dry afterwards!

SIDE NOTE: I never really go the whole point of signing up and receiving “boxes.”  I am already unorganized and a mild hoarder so the last thing I need is more stuff but I loved the one I received from FabFitFun!   What a fun and cool way to learn about new products!  There were these socks that I ordered more of and this eucalyptus body wash that was amazing that my boyfriend finished in like a week because he loved it so much).

When I moved to LA I went to a dermatologist to talk about my eczema and the asshole told me I needed botox. Seriously, he also tried to sell me this high end luxury face wash he created that has an active ingredient no other product has.  UH, it was 10% Benzoyl Peroxide which all of you ladies know is in SEVERAL drug store items.

He was a jerk but I figured I should be more proactive about preventing wrinkles.

This product pretty much shoots oxygen into your skin and has really helped to reduce the appearance of my wrinkles!

Ole Henriksen Youth Activating Oil

This product is really nice and extra hydrating and I love to put it on before my moisturizer but do not use it if you already have oily skin.  My skin is as dry as cereal before milk.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream

This cream really is magic.  Woahh ohhh it’s magic, you knowww!  The smell is fantastic and I love the smooth, creamy texture.  It gives the skin such a nice glow that you almost don’t want to put foundation on afterwards.
