Hi lovers!  Hope you all had a good weekend!  Mine was a lot of fun. I checked out this shabby chic restaurant in Venice called James Beach with my man and some friends.  The place was fun and the food was delicious and the best part is it’s right next to the boardwalk so you can walk off your chocolate cake afterwards.  I had the salmon, kale and fava beans dish and I highly recommend it.  On another night I made fajitas and had some of my girlfriends over for some grub and wine on the roof.  I also chopped off my hair and watched “World War Z!”  Both were equally scary yet exciting.  I’ve wanted a change for awhile and the haircut did just the trick!

I love this outfit because I think it’s a great balance between masculine and feminine trends.  The pants and oxfords are obviously more masculine although I don’t know many men that wear rose colored shoes, but you get the drift, and then the floral peplum is very ladylike.  Topped the look off with some pretty purple earrings given to me by a friend while in college and my new summer bag from H&M.  Just purchased the purse the other day.  It’s large and in charge and can fit anything and everything.  I love the color and I think can double as an everyday bag as well as a cute pool party/beach bag.  Because I’ve gone to one pool party all year so we obviously know I need a pool party bag…
