LA has made me soft..and casual. I swear you see more women in this city walking around midday in LuLu Lemon workout wear than in a pretty dress. It’s just so strange..I mean does really no one have a normal job? Why are gym classes completely booked at 3 PM? I love the laid-back vibe in Cali but I think some people take it to the extreme and slum really hard. I am sometimes totally guilty as well. However, you’ll never see me in sweats and running shoes unless I’m hiking or at the gym, I mean really, there’s just no excuse for that. I do love a good pair of boyfriend jeans and oxfords but in my attempt to fem it up a bit I am turning to dresses. Actually, I used to rarely wear dressed but now most of my latest posts are showing some leg. Why is it that on our days off, when we have the most time we make excuses for ourselves and our appearance and tend to dress somewhat sloppy?
I like this Tracy Reese combo shift dress because the colors are so bold and beautiful and the pattern is simple yet very detailed. I love the flower print sticking and the rose/neon colors. Can this be the new running around town look? I mean, why not?
