I love exploring all the different areas of LA.  I live in West Hollywood which is very central but on my days off I like to head Venice and Downtown LA.  The first set of photos were snapped in the Venice canals and on the Venice piers.  The canals are just so darn charming and beautiful! Venice is fantastic because you can head from the beach and go straight to Rose Ave. for dining and Abbot Kinney for shopping.  The shopping on Abbot Kinney is seriously on point, check out Auste! I’ve visited downtown LA 3 times in the past week.  I think it’s safe to say I’m becoming a pretty big fan.  From the flower mart, to the Ace hotel, to the entire corner of Broadway and 9th, the city is just cool and reminds me of New York.  If you are heading downtown make sure you check out Kitchen Faire and Gorbals!  Kitchen Faire is a whole in the wall lunch spot right next to Pershing Square.  Grab it to go and have lunch outside!  Their blackened Ahi Tuna salad is incredible and it’s only $8! Is that even real?!  Gorbals is where they shot the Esquire Network show, Knife fight.  You enter through a really shady ass building lobby and wind through a hallway until you get to the restaurant.  I recommend going late night and sitting at the chef bar!
