Have any of you been keeping up with the new Bravo show, “Princesses: Long Island?” It’s trash reality TV at it’s finest and follows a group of Jappy young women from Long Island on their adventures through love and friendship. The girls are all in their mid-twenties to early 30s and are looking for nice Jewish boys to marry them so they can move out of their parents home and into someone else’s who can take care of them. The fun and refreshing ladies include: Erica Gimbel, Ashlee White, Chanel Omari, Amanda Bertoncini, Casey Cohen and Joey Lauren.
In this particular episode we see Erica and her boyfriend Rob looking for potential houses to move into together (they should not move in together btw…), Chanel goes on a date with her younger sister’s fiance’s best man (it’s complicated) which she is WAYY too good for and WAYY too cute for and who calls her moody by the end of the date, like seriously, wtf?! Amanda and her boyfriend Jeff go on a double date with his parents and although we are used to them smoochin’ all over the place, we’d rather they didn’t in front of his parents! JEFF, KEEP IT IN YO PANTS! Thennnnnnn, two of the cast members, Ashlee and Joey (who were obviously not friends when they cast this….not pulling a fast one on me BRAVO) get into an argument while finally discussing why they hate each other. Unfortunately we never really find out why there is so much animosity but with cheesy and funny comebacks like, “who are you, the pope?” or “yeah, you’re funny…funny looking..” it’s worth tuning into.
