Do you need some Holiday Activities? This year, I feel like a kid again. I am so excited to dress up for Holiday parties (someone invite me please) to watch Christmas movies, and to do all the Holiday things!
If you’re looking to sweeten your December, I am sharing:
5 Holiday Activities to do during December:
- Watch Christmas Movies and drink Hot Cocoa — I mean, it sounds simple and cheesy but it really does get you in the spirit!! My favorite Christmas movies are Home Alone 1, 2 and 3 (very underrated), The Santa Clause and Miracle on 34th Street. Have a great recommendation? Comment below!
- Go ice skating — Ice skating is such a fun way to celebrate the festive season! Wear your favorite chunky sweater and cute pom beanie and circle around that rink! You’ll probably find me hanging again the wall but that’s okay! Ice skating is actually a pretty good workout, even if you’re awful haha. Your calves will be sore the next day so you can file this under a gym session as well. I mean, right? 😉
- See Christmas lights — Growing up my family would always drive to Brooklyn to go down this one street in Dyker Heights that has insane Christmas Decorations. It’s such a fun tradition and a great way to get into the spirit. In Southern California, you can visit the Enchanted Forest that is all lit up during the Holiday season and the Newport Boat Christmas Parade. Here is an article that Time Out Magazine shared listing Christmas Lights in Los Angeles.
- Bake Christmas Desserts — Whether you’re baking cookies with friends, or decorating a gingerbread house, baking is such a fun way to get into the Christmas spirit. May I suggest some red wine to accompany all that sugar? Ya know, a little naughty a little nice.
- Throw a chill AF party — I love having friends over during the Holidays but I also don’t want to go crazy hosting. Have some friends over to help you decorate your tree or have a white elephant gift exchange party and just keep it casual! Make it a potluck so all you have to worry about is the booze and the tunes!
