30-Day Fitness Challenge

I am doing a 30-day fitness challenge and I hope you join me!

I am fed up with myself and my BS excuses for not working out.

I DO HAVE THE TIME.  We all have the time.

Recently, I came across an image of myself from about 4 years ago where I was extremely thin.  I couldn’t believe how skinny I was!!  I don’t look at that picture and get down on myself for gaining weight.  Instead, I find it extremely motivating.

 I had a goal and I chose to put my health and wellness first, every single day. 

Now, I have no desire to get back down to that size, but, there is something to be said about creating a health and fitness goal, and sticking to it.  It’s motivating!  It empowers you in so many areas of your life, beyond health and fitness.

It’s weird because I am the biggest I have ever been, and I am also the most confident I have ever been and I know the two don’t normally go together.  But the truth is, I don’t feel healthy.  My skin breaks out from cheese and yet I still eat it, I overall feel sluggish and a lot of times I don’t feel motivated to do anything but Netflix & Chill and I recognize that is not healthy.

November and December are extremely busy months, filled with festive activities, holiday parties.  It’s a time of year where we generally all start to slack off with the thought that, come January, we will get back on track.

This year, I am challenging that.

I know how hard it is to get back into a routine when you’ve been out of one for so long, hence, my 30-day fitness challenge.

During November I am challenging myself to workout for at least 30 minutes each day.   The challenge is meant as a way to motivate myself, and hopefully, you, to make time for yourself to be active EVERY DAY.  We all have at least 30 minutes!

By committing to a 30-day routine, I will start to live an overall healthier lifestyle that is sustainable.  I don’t believe in crash diets because I know they don’t work and I am not going to commit to a crazy workout regimen that will exhaust me and deter me from going anywhere but my couch.  I know being healthy and active is a lifestyle that I am committed to and I hope you join me on this journey!
