For me, Spring and Summer style is all about elevated casual basics with a pop of color. Ditch your structured suiting and opt for a linen blazer instead. Switch out your trousers for colorful chinos. I am based in Los Angeles so my aesthetic is very beachy with a dose of Palm Springs chic. I love the Bonobos chinos featured above. They are such a great price point ($88) and the slim leg looks great on everyone PLUS, those colors are just amazing! Ditch your tan chinos for fun summer colors but get a pair of tan and/or neutral colored shorts. They are classic and stylish and can be dressed up very easily. Every guy needs a pair of plain white low top sneakers. My absolute favorites are Common Projects and I think they are totally worth the investment, BUT if you can’t afford a $400 pair of sneakers, go for the Stan Smiths in all white! I also love a cool pair of espadrilles instead of a classic boat shoe! You also need a lightweight casual jacket that is perfect for breezy summer nights.
