Monochromatic Dress from NYFW Men’s!
Monochromatic Dressing is one of my favorite looks for men and if you paid any attention to Men’s Fashion Week, you know this trend is not going anywhere. Above are some of my favorite looks from Todd Snyder’s Fall 2016 collection that just went down the runway during Men’s Fashion Week. If you take one thing away from the show and #NYFW in general, it’s that monochromatic dressing is an easy way to look cool and sophisticated.
Monochrome dressing instantaneously makes you look longer and leaner because it gives a streamlined effect. What I love about the monochrome styling in Todd’s show is how he mixes patterns and textures. This is how guys should try and execute monochrome dressing to avoid looking too matchy matchy. Style similar colored pieces with different weights and structures. The pairing is bold but looks effortless.
